Nina Bell Peters RCC #24936
As a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), I have extensive experience in the field of mental health and addictions. I commonly work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and trauma.
Utilizing a strengths-based and empowerment-focused lens, my approach is eclectic, creative, and collaborative; drawing from modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. I also value the wisdom our bodies hold and incorporate somatic awareness into my work.
Helping clients foster resilience, build self-awareness, and draw on their own internal capacity for change, each session is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to approach vulnerability, explore your inner world, and move toward meaningful and sustainable change.

My style is compassionate, direct, and non-judgmental. I have both trained and extensive experience in working with trauma, attachment styles and wounds, eating disorders and couples therapy. Together, our work will be grounded in a trauma-informed and evidence based approach. I draw on Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Attachment Theory, and Somatic-Based practices including Brainspotting Therapy to support your overall well-being, connecting both mind and body throughout.

Kenya Gader, MSW, RSW
Kenya is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and therapist who provides compassionate, trauma-informed counselling for children, youth, and adults navigating trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem, and difficult life experiences. She creates a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can slow down, better understand themselves, and work toward meaningful change.
Kenya has a particular interest in trauma therapy, attachment and relationship patterns. She supports clients who may experience intense emotions, difficulties in relationships, fear of abandonment, challenges with self-worth, or patterns that feel difficult to change. Her approach focuses on understanding the experiences beneath these patterns while building greater emotional awareness, self-compassion, and stability.
Kenya also incorporates Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed and parts-based approaches to help clients explore different parts of themselves with curiosity rather than judgment. She works collaboratively with each client and adapts therapy to their individual needs, goals, and pace.

Shay Villa RCC #26831
Shay Villa, RCC
Shay is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) who provides warm, collaborative counselling for adults and couples navigating ADHD, anxiety, relationship challenges, attachment patterns, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. Her approach is compassionate and direct, helping clients better understand themselves while developing tools and strategies that support meaningful change.
Shay has a particular focus on ADHD therapy, attachment-focused counselling, EMDR, and couples counselling. She works with adults who may be struggling with executive functioning, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationship patterns, communication, or the lasting effects of difficult experiences.
In her work with ADHD, Shay helps clients understand how ADHD can affect organization, motivation, emotional regulation, relationships, self-confidence, and day-to-day functioning. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, she takes a whole-person approach that considers the emotional and relational experiences that often accompany ADHD.
Shay also incorporates EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) into her therapy work.
Shay also provides couples counselling, drawing from Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help couples improve communication, understand recurring patterns, rebuild connection, and navigate conflict with greater understanding and compassion.
Shay offers in-person counselling in North Vancouver as well as online counselling throughout British Columbia.
